+The Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph 49150 is the second-generation Overseas, the reference that defined the collection through the 2000s and still looks unmistakably Vacheron on the wrist. This distinguished timepiece features a 42mm stainless steel case roughly 12.5mm thick, framed by the Overseas signature half-Maltese cross bezel, water-resistant to 150 meters with a screw-down crown and screw-down chronograph pushers. Its soft-iron inner cage shields the movement against magnetic fields up to 25,000 A/m, a genuine technical feature and the reason the dial carries the antimagnetic marking. The captivating blue dial is set with applied white gold baton hour markers filled with luminescent material, a large date aperture at 12 o'clock, and three recessed counters, with the 30-minute register at 3, the 12-hour register at 9, and small seconds at 6. Powered by the Caliber 1137, a self-winding integrated column-wheel chronograph beating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, it delivers roughly 40 hours of power reserve with the smooth pusher feel that makes this generation of movement so well regarded. A dark alligator leather strap with contrasting blue stitching completes the watch, secured by a signed deployant clasp.
