The trade begins
Robert Altieri enters the Los Angeles jewelry business and helps pioneer the cash for gold wave that swept the country. The family's first lessons in honest dealing are learned behind a counter.
The eye sharpens
Years running a luxury watch store in Beverly Hills turn a jeweler's instinct into a specialist's eye for Rolex, and Robertino gets his first industry job at fifteen.
