Return Policy

This Return Policy outlines the terms, conditions, and requirements that govern all return requests for purchases made on watchguys.com. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms without exception.


Return Eligibility

Only pre-owned watches purchased online through WatchGuys.com may be eligible for return, subject to full compliance with this Policy.

The following transactions are strictly Final Sale and not eligible for return, refund, or exchange under any circumstances:

  • In-store purchases

  • New or unworn products

  • Any order paid in whole or in part with cryptocurrency

If a purchase does not meet every requirement outlined in this Policy, it is automatically deemed ineligible for return.


Return Initiation (3-Day Deadline)

Return requests must be initiated within three (3) calendar days from the date the shipment is marked “Delivered” by the carrier.

To initiate a return, you must contact WatchGuys by email, phone, or text with documented communication.

Returns cannot be initiated after the 3-day window. No exceptions will be made for travel, delayed package opening, or similar circumstances.


Return Shipping Requirements (24-Hour Deadline)

Once WatchGuys conditionally approves your request, a prepaid and insured FedEx return label will be issued. After receiving the label, you must:

  • Ship the watch back to WatchGuys within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving return label

  • Use only an official FedEx Print & Ship Center

  • Obtain a time-stamped receipt confirming the drop-off time and exact location

The following drop-off locations are prohibited and will void your return:

  • FedEx Authorized ShipCenters

  • FedEx drop boxes

  • Third-party pack-and-ship stores

  • Any unattended drop point

Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in return denial, additional fees, loss of insurance coverage, or recategorization of the item as an Unacceptable Return.


As-Shipped Condition Requirement

All returned items must be received in the exact As-Shipped Condition in order to qualify for a refund. This means:

No Wear, Use, or Handling Marks

The watch must show zero signs of use, including:

  • Scratches, scuffs, dents, nicks, or abrasions

  • Crystal chips, marks, or cracks

  • Strap creasing or clasp wear

  • Bracelet stretch or manipulation

  • Residue, discoloration, or surface marks

No Alterations or Tampering

Absolutely no:

  • Opened caseback

  • Internal access or movement interference

  • Added, removed, or resized links

  • Component swapping or replacement

  • Tool marks or pressure marks

Security & Packaging Requirements

All of the following must be returned exactly as originally provided:

  • Intact red security sticker

  • All original tags (including non-removable tags)

  • Original boxes, packaging, warranty cards, booklets, receipts, and accessories

Any deviation from As-Shipped Condition automatically disqualifies the return.


Restocking Fees and Deductions

All Acceptable Returns are subject to the following deductions:

Restocking Fee (Up to 10%)

This fee covers:

  • Non-refundable payment processing and merchant fees (credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Affirm, etc.) are non-refundable and will be deducted in full.

  • Labor associated with inspection, authentication, and handling

  • Administrative, compliance, and quality control procedures

  • Repackaging and re-listing

  • Loss of market value during the return period or a potential loss of sale

Shipping & Insurance Costs

All return shipping and insurance costs paid by WatchGuys will be deducted from the refund.

Customers are strictly required to use the prepaid, insured FedEx return label provided by WatchGuys.

This label is the only method authorized to document, track, and authenticate the initiation of a return.

Returns shipped using any label not issued by WatchGuys—including labels purchased or generated by the customer—are automatically invalid and will be refused.

If a customer ships a package using their own label:

  • The return will be denied in full

  • WatchGuys will not accept or process the package

  • WatchGuys assumes no responsibility or liability for loss, theft, damage, misdelivery, delays, or delivery to the wrong address

  • WatchGuys is not obligated to locate, track, retrieve, or recover the package

  • Any consequences arising during transit are solely at the customer’s risk

Only packages shipped with the WatchGuys-issued return label are eligible for inspection, processing, or refund consideration.


Unacceptable Returns

A return will be classified as Unacceptable and will not be eligible for refund, exchange, or inspection-based reconsideration if any of the following apply:

  • Failure to Meet Policy Requirements:
    The item does not fully comply with every condition, requirement, and instruction outlined in this Return Policy, including packaging, timelines, authorization procedures, and condition standards.
  • Signs of Wear, Alteration, or Tampering:
    The item shows any evidence of handling beyond initial inspection, including but not limited to wear, marks, scratches, sizing changes, part swaps, attempted repairs, removed stickers, missing tags, missing plastics, missing links, or any alteration of its as-shipped condition.
  • Incomplete, Missing, or Substituted Items:
    The return is missing any component originally included in the shipment—such as boxes, papers, accessories, warranties, booklets, links, tags, authentication materials, or protective coverings.
  • Improper or Late Shipping:
    The item was shipped after the required return window, was not shipped using the approved carrier and label provided by WatchGuys, or was dropped off at an unauthorized location. Any deviation from the approved return process automatically renders the return unacceptable.
  • Packaging or Handling Issues:
    The item was inadequately packaged, improperly protected, or shipped in a manner that risks damage, or shows signs of mishandling or exposure during return transit.

WatchGuys reserves the sole and exclusive right to determine whether a returned item qualifies as Acceptable or Unacceptable based on our inspection, documentation, and internal assessment standards.

Consequences of Unacceptable Returns

At WatchGuys’ sole discretion:

  • The item may be returned to the customer at their expense; or

  • WatchGuys may choose to accept the item with up to a 10% restocking fee, plus all shipping, insurance, and processor fee deductions


Inspection & Verification

All returned watches undergo a high-resolution, video-recorded inspection upon arrival. During this process, WatchGuys verifies:

  • Authenticity

  • Mechanical integrity

  • Condition consistency with As-Shipped standards

  • Packaging completeness

  • Security sticker integrity

  • Absence of tampering or wear

All findings determined by WatchGuys during inspection are final, binding, and non-negotiable.


Refund Method & Processing Time

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible.
Processing times vary by bank or financial institution. WatchGuys is not responsible for banking delays.

Refunds reflect all applicable deductions as outlined above.


Right to Refuse Service

WatchGuys reserves the exclusive right to:

  • Refuse any return that does not strictly comply with this Policy

  • Deny service to individuals suspected of policy abuse or fraudulent behavior

  • Modify, update, or revise this Policy at any time without prior notice
