At WatchGuys, we take great pride in the quality and authenticity of the pre-owned luxury watches we sell. Your peace of mind is our priority, which is why we provide a comprehensive 1-year limited warranty on all watches sold through our website or in-store. Our warranty is an affirmation of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in the pre-owned luxury timepiece industry. Please note that our 1-year limited warranty is exclusive to watches purchased within the United States.

What Is Covered?

Our 1-year limited warranty specifically covers mechanical defects within the timepiece. If a warranted watch displays mechanical issues within the one-year period from the date of purchase, WatchGuys will repair or replace the faulty internal components, free of additional charge. Our warranty is an assurance that your timepiece will function as it should, giving you the peace of mind that comes with a reliable luxury watch.

What Is Not Covered - What Will Void My Warranty

While we strive to offer extensive coverage with our warranty, it's essential to note certain exclusions apply:

  • Unauthorized Third-Party Service: Any unauthorized modifications, additions, or repairs performed by third-party watchmakers void this warranty. We recommend seeking written consent from WatchGuys before making any changes to your watch.
  • External Damage: Any damage due to exposure to water, shocks, or general mishandling (like dents, scratches, broken or chipped crystals) is not covered.
  • Quartz Watches: Our warranty is not applicable to quartz watches.
  • Timekeeping Accuracy: Our warranty does not cover watches that run slow or fast or do not maintain perfect or accurate time.
  • Non-transferability: The warranty is valid for one year from the purchase date and is exclusive to the original buyer. It is non-transferable.
  • Vintage Watches: Our one-year service warranty does not extend to vintage watches.

Warranty Process - How To File A Warranty Claim

In the event of a warranty claim, the repair process will be conducted at the WatchGuys headquarters in Los Angeles, California, by our skilled in-house watchmakers. To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us in advance at (213) 302-4400 to obtain written approval for the repair. We will not be responsible for any watches sent in for repair without prior written approval, or watches that may be lost in the mail.

  1. Contact WatchGuys: Reach out to us via phone at (213) 302-4400 or email sales@watchguys.com to initiate your warranty claim.

  2. Claim Approval: Wait for written approval from WatchGuys before proceeding to mailing in your watch or bringing it to our store.

  3. Mail Your Watch: Upon receiving approval, safely mail your watch to our headquarters or bring it to our store in Downtown Los Angeles.

  4. Watch Repaired & Return: Our in-house watchmakers will diligently repair your watch. Once completed, we will mail the watch back to you free of charge.
