Pre-Order Terms and Conditions
Scope and Applicability
These terms govern all pre-order purchases placed with WatchGuys. Pre-order items are available online only, are not held in stock, and are identified as available for pre-order on the product page. This policy applies to every pre-order, covering both unworn and pre-owned watches, and replaces and supersedes the former Secure Now policy in its entirety. This policy does not apply to in-stock purchases.
By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out on this page.
Definitions
"Pre-order" means an order for a watch that is not held in WatchGuys inventory and must be located and secured after the order is placed. "Starting price" means the total displayed at checkout at the time you place your pre-order. "Final quote" means the confirmed price presented to you by a WatchGuys representative once your watch has been located. "Selected condition" means the condition of the watch chosen by you at checkout, for example unworn, or pre-owned in excellent condition.
Order Placement and Authorization
Pre-orders are placed through the Pre-Order button on the product page. Bank wire must be selected as the payment method at checkout; this is what ensures that no charge of any kind is made when your order is placed. WatchGuys does not collect a deposit and does not place an authorization hold on any card for pre-orders.
Applicable taxes and fees are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping address.
Condition Selection and Sourcing
WatchGuys sources only the selected condition on your order. An order placed for an unworn watch will be fulfilled with an unworn example only. An order placed for a pre-owned watch in a stated condition, such as excellent, will be fulfilled with a pre-owned example in that condition only. WatchGuys does not substitute conditions under any circumstances.
If your selected condition cannot be secured, your pre-order will be canceled and you will owe nothing.
Pricing and Market Adjustments
The starting price is subject to change based on market conditions. WatchGuys makes every effort to fulfill your pre-order at or near the starting price. If available options are priced above the advertised price, the price will be presented to you before your order proceeds, and nothing will be charged unless you approve.
If you decline the presented price and WatchGuys determines that a better price cannot be secured, your pre-order will be canceled at no cost to you.
Promotions and Discount Codes
Discount codes, promotional offers, and coupon codes do not apply to pre-order items. Pre-order pricing is firm. If a discount code is applied at checkout on a pre-order item, WatchGuys reserves the right to remove the code and adjust the total accordingly without notice.
Payment
Bank wire transfer is the only accepted payment method for pre-orders. Upon your acceptance of the final quote, WatchGuys will issue an invoice for same-day payment. Sourced watches move quickly; if payment is not initiated the same day, the watch may be lost to another buyer and fulfillment may be significantly delayed.
Sales tax may apply based on your shipping address and state regulations.
Fulfillment Timeline
Pre-order items must be located after your order is placed. Most pre-orders are fulfilled within 3 to 5 business days after payment is received. Depending on availability and market conditions, fulfillment may take longer. All timelines are good-faith estimates and are not guaranteed.
Shipping and Inspection Fee
A flat $200 shipping fee is included on your invoice. This fee covers the inbound shipment of your watch to WatchGuys for authentication and inspection and the outbound shipment to you upon completion of your order. The shipping fee is mandatory, separate from the purchase price, and non-refundable.
Authentication and Inspection
Before delivery, every pre-order watch is first imported to WatchGuys, where it undergoes full authentication and a detailed inspection to confirm it is exactly as described. This process allows WatchGuys to stand behind every pre-order, 100 percent. Your watch ships to you only after it passes.
Final Sale
Once payment is received, all pre-order items are final sale. No returns, no refunds, no exchanges. If you are uncertain about a purchase, please contact us before placing your pre-order.
Communication
Pre-orders are time sensitive. Once your final quote is presented, a same-day response is required. Sourced watches move quickly, and a watch that is not confirmed the same day may be sold to another buyer. If we do not receive your response the same day, your pre-order may be delayed while another example in your selected condition is located.
Order Acceptance and Cancellation
Placing a pre-order does not constitute a legally binding purchase contract. WatchGuys reserves the right to cancel any pre-order at its discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, availability issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
If WatchGuys cancels your pre-order, or if your order is canceled under any section of this policy before payment, you will owe nothing.
Policy Updates
WatchGuys reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace this policy at any time, at its sole discretion, and without prior notice. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the pre-order service constitutes acceptance of the policy as posted.

Check out with a pre-owned watch in excellent condition and you will be presented with an excellent pre-owned example. The condition on your order is the condition in the box.
