Rolex Explorer 6610

The Rolex Explorer 6610 is a significant transitional reference in the Explorer’s history, produced in the late 1950s. Crafted in stainless steel, it features a 36mm Oyster case with a smooth bezel and the signature black dial with 3-6-9 Arabic numerals and Mercedes hands, designed for maximum legibility. The 6610 succeeded the reference 6350 and introduced the slimmer Caliber 1030 automatic movement, allowing for a sleeker case profile while retaining a 50-meter water resistance rating. Its gilt dial, often with a glossy finish and chapter ring, gives it classic mid-century Rolex character.
