Secure Now Policy Page
Note: This policy applies to secure now items only and does not apply to in-stock purchases. Secure now items are described as "available online only."
To confirm your secure now order, a 1% deposit (authorization hold) of the total purchase price is required. This deposit confirms your commitment as a serious buyer and allows us to allocate time and resources to locate and secure your watch.
Please note: This deposit is not an actual charge at the time of placing your order. It is a temporary authorization hold on your credit card. Once we locate and confirm your item, the hold is released, and you will be billed for the full purchase amount via bank wire transfer.
Fulfillment & Availability
Secure now items are not in-stock and must be located after we receive your deposit. While we aim to fulfill most orders within 5-7 business days, timing may vary depending on availability and market conditions.
Once the watch is located, a WatchGuys representative will contact you to confirm the final price. While we make every effort to match or stay close to the advertised price, market conditions may result in modest adjustments. Your deposit remains valid in such cases. In the rare event of a substantial market shift, WatchGuys reserves the right to notify you and offer the option to cancel your order without penalty.
Shipping: A flat $200 shipping fee will be included on your invoice. This fee covers the inbound shipment of your watch to WatchGuys and the outbound shipment to you upon completion of your order. The shipping fee is mandatory, separate from the purchase price, and non-refundable.
Once the final price is confirmed, you will have 24 hours to proceed with the order.
At that point:
- You must submit a valid state-issued driver’s license or ID and proof of billing address.
- We do not allow delivery to anyone other than the purchaser.
- We only accept full payment via bank wire transfer. No other forms of payment are accepted.
- Sales tax may apply based on your shipping address and state regulations.
- You will have 24 hours to initiate the bank wire payment once you confirm the order.
If you fail to respond, fail to provide the required documentation, or do not initiate payment within the 24-hour window, WatchGuys reserves the right to capture and retain your deposit to cover time and resources dedicated to securing your watch.
Returns & Exchanges
After payment is received, all secure now items are final sale. No Returns, Refunds, or Exchanges.
Discount Codes & Promotions
Discount codes, promotional offers, and coupon codes do not apply to secure now items. These promotions are only valid for in-stock purchases and cannot be applied to deposits or final payments. If a discount code is applied at checkout for a secure now item, WatchGuys reserves the right to remove the code and adjust the total accordingly without notice.
Payment Terms
- Bank wire transfer is the only accepted payment method for the full order amount once your watch is secured.
- Your credit card is used only to place a temporary 1% authorization hold. This hold may be captured and retained if you cancel after we secure your watch or fail to complete payment.
- Sales tax may apply depending on your shipping destination.
Deposit Terms
- Your deposit is a temporary authorization hold, not a charge, unless terms are violated.
- If we cannot secure the watch, or if the final price exceeds your expectations and you choose to cancel, your deposit hold will be released in full.
- If we secure the watch and you choose not to proceed, your deposit may be captured and retained due to the time, effort, and commitments made on our end.
- This deposit is a commitment, not a placeholder. If you’re uncertain about purchasing, please do not place a secure now order.
- If we are unable to reach you within 3 business days of securing your watch, we reserve the right to cancel the order and retain your deposit.
Important: Placing a deposit does not constitute a legally binding purchase contract. WatchGuys reserves the right to cancel any secure now order at its discretion, including cases of pricing errors, availability issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. However, once you place a deposit, you agree to proceed under these terms or risk forfeiting your deposit.
