Snoopy's New MoonSwatch Limited Edition Series
The new OMEGA x Swatch x Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold brings Snoopy’s cosmic charm to the MoonSwatch series, unveiled just in time for August’s full moon.

OMEGA and Swatch reveal their latest crossover timepiece: the Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold (ref. SO33N701L). Announced mere days ago and launching on August 9, 2025, the night of the full Sturgeon Moon. This limited edition MoonSwatch will be available in-store for one day only.
All signs point to this being more than just another collaboration. It’s a statement piece blending storytelling, technical novelty, and the ongoing luxury-meets-streetwear trend in the watch market.
New Omega MoonSwatch with Moonphase and Earthphase Complications
The Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold makes an immediate impression with its astronaut-inspired aesthetics and playful details. The case, crown, and pushers are rendered in a deep navy blue Bioceramic, a proprietary Swatch material that feels silky matte yet tough.
In contrast, the dial is a crisp white opaline, highlighting the vibrant artwork and complications. Snoopy and Woodstock, dressed in full space gear, appear in the lower-left quadrant, sitting on the Moon’s surface and gazing at Earth. This charming illustration is subtle by daylight but comes alive under UV light, revealing a hidden quote in a speech bubble: Snoopy proclaiming, “I beat everybody…”
Two celestial complications dominate the dial: an earthphase indicator at 10 o’clock and a moonphase indicator at 2 o’clock. The earthphase sub-dial displays how Earth would appear from the Moon, running opposite to a normal moonphase—when there’s a full moon in our sky, the sub-dial shows a “new Earth,” and when it’s a new moon, a full Earth appears.
Opposite at 2 o’clock, the moonphase indicator showcases two golden full moons sharing one sub-dial, each coated in Omega’s Moonshine™ Gold, a proprietary alloy previously seen in high-end Omega Speedmasters. These golden moons shimmer beautifully in the light.
The dial carries OMEGA x Swatch co-branding, the iconic Speedmaster logo, and the MoonSwatch logo. A Speedmaster-style tachymeter bezel (navy bioceramic with crisp white markings) frames the dial, reinforcing the Moonwatch aesthetic.

Moonswatch Gets an Update
Beyond the eye-catching visuals, the Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold boasts intriguing technical specs that merge Swatch’s innovation with Omega’s DNA.
The case dimensions mirror those of an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, coming in at 42 mm diameter and 13.75 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug span of about 47.3 mm. This gives the watch a substantial wrist presence, identical to the classic Moonwatch, yet thanks to Swatch’s lightweight Bioceramic material, it remains comfortable and light.
It is also water resistant at 3 bar (~30 meters), which is standard for the MoonSwatch line. The new navy VELCRO® rubber strap is also worth mentioning. It’s the first MoonSwatch rubber strap, a fresh change from the stiff nylon Velcro straps of older models.
Inside, a quartz movement powers the watch. It drives multiple complications (hours, minutes, chronograph seconds) plus the novel moonphase and earthphase indicators.
Grade A Super-LumiNova® coats the hour markers (as well as the hour, minute, and chronograph seconds hand tips) all glowing green in the dark. This ensures the watch is legible at night, with the classic Speedmaster-style luminescent layout. Additionally, the special UV-reactive ink paints
Where to Buy: New Omega x Swatch
This MoonSwatch edition retails for $400—slightly above other MoonSwatch models but far below any Omega Speedmaster.
Availability is the real twist: in-store only, one day only, August 9, 2025, during the Sturgeon Moon. Quantities are expected to be scarce, with a strict one per customer policy. This setup mirrors the hype-driven scarcity of sneaker culture.
With Snoopy’s broad appeal and the one-off drop format, secondary market premiums are almost certain. Early flippers could command prices several times retail, especially given past MoonSwatch resale trends.
Final Thoughts
The Swatch x Omega Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold finds a sweet spot between luxury watchmaking and pop culture fun. Snoopy’s cameo ensures appeal far beyond traditional watch enthusiasts.
This is more than a watch—it’s a conversation starter, a nod to space history, and a collectible piece of design storytelling. Swatch and Omega have proven again that they know how to keep the MoonSwatch phenomenon alive and evolving.
