What Is Covered

WatchGuys provides a limited service warranty for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase, exclusively to the original purchaser and for U.S.-based customers only. This warranty covers mechanical defects in the internal movement of the watch, as determined by WatchGuys’ certified technicians. If a covered mechanical issue arises within this period, WatchGuys will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the affected internal components free of charge.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser as indicated on the invoice.

Please note: Shipping costs to and from WatchGuys are the responsibility of the customer. Warranty service must be conducted at our authorized service facility. We are not responsible for loss or damage during transit.

What Is Not Covered / What Will Void the Warranty

This limited warranty is strictly limited to internal mechanical defects. The following are excluded from coverage and will void the warranty:

• Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications: Any repair, alteration, or service performed by a third party not expressly authorized in writing by WatchGuys will render this warranty null and void.
• External Damage: Damage caused by accidents, abuse, or misuse, including but not limited to impacts, crushing, dents, scratches, cracked or broken crystals, and water damage.
• Quartz Watches: Quartz movement watches are not covered under this limited warranty.
• Vintage Watches: Watches classified as vintage are excluded from warranty coverage.
• Loss, Theft, or Misplacement: This warranty does not cover stolen, lost, or misplaced watches under any circumstances.
• Improper Use: Damage caused by exposure to extreme environments or improper handling.
• Timekeeping Variations: Mechanical watches may gain or lose time within accepted tolerances. Minor deviations in accuracy do not constitute a defect and are not covered under this warranty.

WatchGuys is an independent watch dealer and is not an authorized retailer for any of the brands we carry, including Rolex, Omega, Audemars Piguet, or others. All warranties offered are those of WatchGuys only. The respective watch brands are under no obligation to honor or service watches sold by WatchGuys.

Warranty Process - How It Works

In the event of a warranty claim, the repair process will be conducted at the WatchGuys headquarters in Los Angeles, California, by our skilled in-house watchmakers. To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us in advance at (213) 302-4400 to obtain written approval for the repair. We will not be responsible for any watches sent in for repair without prior written approval, or watches that may be lost in the mail.

1. Contact WatchGuys: Reach out to us via phone at (213) 302-4400 or email sales@watchguys.com to initiate your warranty claim.

2. Repair Approval: Wait for written approval from WatchGuys before proceeding to mailing in your watch or bringing it to our store.

3. Mail Your Watch: Upon receiving approval, safely mail your watch to our headquarters or bring it to our store in Downtown Los Angeles.

4. Watch Repaired & Return: Our in-house watchmakers will diligently repair your watch. Once completed, we will mail the watch back to you.
